What is your favorite style of workout?

What style of workout are you obsessed with right now?

Usually I like to LIIFT (a combo of lifting and HIIT 😝) but for the past few weeks I’ve been slowing down and focusing on functional resistance & stretching. I’m back to recording my weights & reps each workout and trying to improve my strength & performance each week. I guess I am competitive, but only with myself.

I’ve been stretching before AND after my workouts, which I’m usually terrible at following through with. And I’m kinda low key obsessed with that too. My body just feels so much better going into the lifts & I am starting to notice my body feeling more aligned and strong during every day activities too.

I’m telling you all this because my husband (an ex professional athlete) stretches and foam rolls religiously, like 3x a day, and for the longest time I’ve teased him about his “old man workouts”. I can’t turn around & tell him how how great it feels to stretch now can I?!
