4 Ways to Simplify Meal Prep

Alright, let’s talk about meal prep. Now, depending on how you feel about it, meal prepping can be super fun or super overwhelming. Because real talk… it takes dedicated time and/or planning. So if you aren’t organized, it can be a total bust.🤷🏻‍♀️🥗But there’s no big secret to meal prep. Basically, it’s just cooking big batches of meals or single ingredients that are helpful for building meals (like quinoa, roasted veggies, or sauces)... and then you portion them out.🍱⁠

So, let me share some tips to make sure you’re meal prepping as efficiently as possible, so you feel like it’s actually making your life EASIER!⁠

1️⃣Make a Meal Plan for the week- I know, it sounds obvious 🤣but I really want you to sit down & think about your week & how many meals you need to make. Do you have plans to go out for dinner? Is one night extra crazy busy in your house? Maybe you realized this past week that you need to prep more snacks or you really want to try out a new lunch recipe.⁠

2️⃣It can be helpful to theme your days, like Meatless Monday or Taco Tuesday, so you’re not starting from scratch every week. You’ll also want to pick recipes that work well with the basics + pantry staples you already have!⁠

Make a list of all the meals you need to make this week and start slotting in recipes!⁠
