How to gain time each week

It’s days like today that remind me of why my Meal Prep Party business is important. The weather was gorgeous here in Cbus and Gray and I spent the entire day outside. And this is my mission for all mamas & busy women in general: to have less time in the kitchen & more time doing what they love with the people they love most.

I remember just a few short months ago when I had hit rock bottom.

It was right after Christmas. I was not coping with being so far from my family with no end in sight of when the borders would open & we could finally visit. I felt alone as I had very few people I could rely on to help with Gray (in fact just my mother-in-law who is super busy herself) and I was juggling being a SAHM & WFHM working during nap times and bed times and whenever I could. I was struggling to “do it all” around the house. Now don’t get me wrong, my husband helps A LOT when he can but he works long hours and I just felt like it wasn’t how I wanted us to spend the little amount of family time we had.

I was constantly trying to organize the best activities, learning experiences & food options for Gray. I was stressed in thinking that I was never doing enough for my family. Fast forward to dinner time and I was literally throwing together whatever I could find in the kitchen and hoping it tasted palatable. We were wasting food as I was grocery shopping blind without a list and zero clue was I was going to make, so would “stock up” in case I need items throughout the week. Even thinking about it now, I’m exhausted… I knew something had to change.

Fast forward to early February, when I had several coaching consultations with other women who felt THE EXACT SAME WAY. It was heartbreaking to hear and there were several times when we would breakdown together. I knew I wanted to help them (and myself) I just couldn’t think of how I could with my current business structure. I knew I could teach them how to eat for life, help them create sustainable habits and routines, help them to prioritize their workouts… but I couldn’t help them to find time for themselves and the things they love the most: whether it be playing outside with their kids after work, having time to pursue their hobbies, date nights, being present in the family.

And so, after a solid week of thinking, brainstorming, journaling- Meal Prep Parties became about. I “take” one hour of your time to give you make multiple during the week. I provide members with categorized grocery lists, recipes & the opportunity to come together every Sunday to prep 5 weekday meals. Here is your chance to find more time in your busy week for YOURSELF & YOUR FAMILY.
